Is Crickup free?
Yes — completely. Scoring, tournaments, teams, stats and the broadcast overlay are all free to use. There are no ads and no trackers in the app.
Do I need the app to follow a match?
No. Live scores, scorecards, player profiles and leaderboards are public on the web — share a link and anyone can watch the score update ball by ball, signed in or not.
How do I sign up?
Enter your mobile number and we send a one-time passcode over WhatsApp. No email needed, nothing to remember. Other players find you by your username — never by your phone number.
Can I run my own tournament?
Yes. Organizers get fixtures, squads, scorer accounts and live standings. Email us at contact@crickup.in and we will set you up.
Can I play for more than one club?
You can belong to as many clubs as you like. The one rule is that you can only be in one playing squad per tournament — so a single competition never has you turning out for two sides.
What happens to my stats if I leave a team?
They stay with you. Career statistics are built from the deliveries you actually faced and bowled, so they follow you across clubs and seasons rather than belonging to any one team.
Can I show live scores on my stream?
Yes. Add one Browser Source in OBS pointed at your tournament's overlay URL and a scorebar renders over your camera feed, following whichever match is live. Set it up once per competition, not once per match.
How do I delete my account?
Follow Delete My Account — it works from any browser, with no app or login required. See our Privacy Policy for what is removed and what is kept.
